The Curriculum and Assessment Review will look closely at the barriers which hold children back from the life chances they deserve and ensure curriculum and assessment is cutting edge, fit for purpose and meeting the needs of children and young people to support their future life and work.
We are holding a series of national roadshow events across each region in England, to gather the views of experts, parents, teachers, leaders, students and employers. These views will be pivotal to the recommendations, so that we draw on the wealth of expertise and experience across the entire sector.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from the chair of the Review, Professor Becky Francis CBE, as well as other panel members. There will be opportunity to ask questions, discuss key topics and themes with other attendees, and feedback your thoughts directly to the panel.
Please note: the Curriculum and Assessment Review call for evidence closes on the 22nd November. We urge you to submit your written response before the closing date.
If you are attending the Darlington or Oldham events, or the online webinar, please be aware that these take place after the call for evidence closes. We want to assure you that these events will provide you with a final opportunity to give your views and ask questions to Professor Becky Francis CBE, Chair of the Curriculum and Assessment Review. Your input is valuable and will directly inform the review.
As you will be attending an event after the call for evidence closes, it may be helpful to view the online webinar which Professor Becky Francis CBE delivered. If you have a question which is critical you ask ahead of submitting a written response to the call for evidence and cannot wait until you attend the event, please do email us at [email protected]
