The ABS Consultation Roadshows

To help us continue to develop our proposals for the new Advanced British Standard (ABS) qualification framework for 16–19-year-olds, we are hosting regional events across the country and online in January, February and March, and you are invited to attend one of these sessions. The event will be an opportunity to hear from the Department for Education on the latest policy developments and for you to provide your views on the proposals. You will be able to supplement your written consultation response by engaging in small-group discussions on the way the ABS will work and meet others in your sector with an interest.

Breakout Selection

The event will include 3 breakout discussions on key policy themes throughout the day, which will be an opportunity to harness your knowledge and experience as we shape the design of the qualification framework. Attendees are asked to select two breakout sessions related to the design of the ABS and one breakout session related to the delivery of the ABS. We will endeavour to place you on these tables, although it may not always be possible.
