Creating a culture with high expectations of behaviour is a key priority for the Government. Every school has a duty to create an environment that is calm, safe, supportive and free from distraction so all pupils, whatever their background, can learn and thrive.
The Department for Education’s (DfE) Behaviour Unit are pleased to announce a the third free 60-minute webinar titled ‘The use of Mobile Phones in School’ delivered by the DfE’s Behaviour Advisor, Mark Emmerson, on 12 March 2024, between 4pm-5pm.
This session will discuss the newly published Mobile Phones in School guidance and how this can be used to as an essential tool to help schools develop a mobile phone policy that reflects their schools’ individual needs and context.
This webinar is open to all school leaders and school workforce, Local Authorities, and governors. It is the third, in a planned series, the first two on Behaviour in Schools can be accessed here.
