What if my school cannot attend on the dates allocated and we still wish to attend?

If you cannot attend on the date allocated, please contact us at [email protected] and we will see if we have availability on another date.  We will do what we can to accommodate you.

How do I know if I’ve secured a ticket? 

You will receive email confirmation from us that should arrive soon after your registration, confirming the number of places allocated to your school. If you do not see it, please check your junk mail. If still not found please contact us at [email protected].

What do I do if I need to change my ticket, or can no longer attend?

If you wish to change the date, number of seats, staff mentor named or cancel please contact us at [email protected].

Where is the Expo?

How should I get there?   

Redford Cavalry Barracks is best accessed by road and parking is available. Schools are encouraged to make their own transport arrangements, but we may be able to provide bus transport to and from Redford.  If you indicate that you require transport on registration, we will be in touch to negotiate a collection plan.  For Edinburgh based groups, Redford Barracks is within easy walking distance of stops for the No.4, No.27 and No.10 Bus.

Do students under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult?

Students under the age of 18 should be escorted by an appropriate adult mentor.  School groups should be escorted by the normal ratio of adult staff mentors.

How can I access the safety risk assessment for the event? 

We can provide the event safety risk assessment on request.  The event is very low risk.

What facilities are at the Expo?

Toilet facilities will be accessible throughout.

Will I receive more information about the event?

Yes. We will send you further information about the event in the weeks leading up to the show.

What happens to the information that I give to you?

Some of my students have additional needs, can they still attend? 

Yes. Please note your requirements as part of your registration and we can discuss arrangements with you. Army Expo 25 will be fully wheelchair accessible.

What should I wear? 

The Expo show takes place on the parade square of Redford Cavalry Barracks.  Audiences will be outside for limited periods as well as under cover. Please dress appropriately for the weather forecast.  Typical work or smart casual attire and school uniform for students is recommended.

Do I need to pay for anything? 

No, the Expo is free to attend.

Will I require identification? 

Yes. Adult mentors of school groups should bring photo identification (driving licence etc) to access the barracks.
