Barnsley College is an FE college with over 9,000 students and over 2,000 apprentices. It has several campuses in Barnsley and Mansfield, including the SciTech Digital Innovation Centre, and Barnsley Sixth Form College. The college provides A Levels, vocational courses, and apprenticeships for students from Years 12 to 13.  

It was the first South Yorkshire college to offer the new T Level qualifications from September 2020. Currently, Barnsley College offers T Level courses in Construction, Digital, Education and Childcare and Health and Social Care. From September 2022, further T Level courses will be added to the provision in Finance and Accounting, Engineering and Manufacturing and Business and Administration.
