ADOS 2

The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule 2 (ADOS-2) is considered to be a ‘gold standard’ assessment recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) as part of the diagnostic assessment process for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Having certified as an ADOS2 trainer in 2002, Marianna is now a highly experienced ADOS trainer, and trainer of trainers.

ADOS-2 users are required to attend ADOS-2 reliability workshops regularly. Marianna and the team provide ADOS-2 Reliability workshops to support ADOS-2 users with calibrating their administration and coding in agreement with international thresholds.

Clinical Staff with a prior background in autism and formal testing,our  2-day workshop is sufficient to support the use of the ADOS-2 to inform the diagnosis of autism and autism spectrum disorders. Physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech-language therapists, experienced CAMHS practitioners  and educational psychologists will be better prepared to make diagnostic and educational decisions, and evaluate programs after completing the workshop. In addition it is recommended that at least one person from each setting/organisation using ADOS-2 has attended a research reliability training.

Individuals with less background in testing but who provide services for individuals and families affected by autism may take the workshop for informational purposes.
